It was wonderful to have our good friends and sponsors from Durham England visit us last month. Apart from the fun and friendship enjoyed by all they paid for our new banana and mango trees and helped to plant them.
There were ahem... QUITE a few of the said trees...
To help us achieve our goal of self-sufficiency, our new trees will be:
1: Beautiful (well, they just ARE!)
2: Functional (they are also our perimeter hedge)
3. And fruitful (well eventually!) for us to eat or sell as we require.
Eventually the new trees were in place...
So thanks again Peter and the Durham helpers! We enjoyed your visit, we know that with the prayers and help of our friends we will get there!
